Mixing high-fashion with rich culture.. not always the easiest thing? Well, stylist Helin Etekhari succeeded!
Taking the tribal themes of this past SS14 stylist Helin wanted to bring her love and interest in African culture to the catwalk. Looking into tribes such as the Huli, Mursi, Dani and Omo Valley she successfully created a set of unique looks ideal to put a twist on your summer wardrobe. Daring enough to use cultural items found at local markets, she mixes interesting textures with earthy tones to give it that true African vibe.
Working together, we set this creative shoot in the heart of Milan - Parco Sempione, who would have guessed? Golden tones and vibrant rays gave this gorgeous summery glow and takes you on an fashionable cultural journey...
