The light in Greece this time of year is amazing. If you're someone who is inspired by imagery, everywhere you set your eyes on appears beautiful. With a golden tan, the sunrays that hit your skin give such a beautiful glow that everyone looks healthy and happy - you can't help but smile!

I did this shoot in the late afternoon after a lazy day by the sea. One of my favourite things is watching long grass sway in the wind against the sunlight. I knew I had to choose a light and floaty outfit to compliment the sunshine, so went for this cute dress I picked up recently from Zara. It's the perfect summer number to throw on in the evening when you go for dinner or, in Greece, to a seaside bar.

The whole feeling of the shoot was natural, breezy and light. I chose silver rustic jewellery, particularly focusing on the rose shaped earrings that complimented the flowers in my dress and in the shoot location. I kept my makeup simple and left my hair curly after the sea to mimic the yellow grass. And, lastly, picked some summery peep-toe wedges to bring out the hints of red in the blue dress.

Style tip: If you have relatively straight hair, and want waves, try leaving it after you've been into the sea. The salt and minerals in the sea are amazing on your locks and leave them beautiful and wavy. In fact, I saw for the first time this summer, some hair products that are actually sea salt spray to replicate the effect (I might be a bit late in my discovery, but nevertheless I thought it was awesome - have a look here!)
