Our post-Christmas activities this year included a day out duning in the Hatta desert. As you can see, we are blessed with stunning weather during winter, where temperatures rarely go above 25 degrees and the sky is as blue as the sea.
Out in the desert we followed a trail found on our off-road GPS and dived head-first into some amazing dune-bashing. This is our getaway to be surrounded by nature, to feel some fresh air and to get our adrenaline pumping.
Evidently this also proved to be a great spot for a bit of outdoor photography. The vastness of the desert encourages you to play with perspective, to get high and low to help communicate just how endless this sea of orange really is. You even get the chance to photograph some new subjects friendly faces, such as wild camels. Take a few Christmas biscuits next time you go and I can assure you you're guaranteed a smile :D
