Today's styled shoot is another outfit taken in the beautiful city of Milan. I'll be sharing my personal travel photos of Milan very soon.
Monochrome is very in at the moment, with the autumnal version now heading towards the traditional black and white 'dogtooth' print - love it! So, before summer came to a close in Europe, I threw on this bold little number for a stroll around the city. Every year when in Greece, I also buy myself a little straw hat and thought it went perfectly with the outfit under the Italian sun :)
I'm a huge fan of red lipstick, as long as it's the right shade and worn at the right time. Usually, however, I don't go for red during the day, as I class it as something more of a statement look, mostly for the evening. However, given the block colour theme and simplicity of the outfit, I thought I could get away with it this time :)
It was a wonderful stroll around the city centre, especially through the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele - it has the most amazing window displays from top-class designers, similar to what you find in Harrods or Selfridges. But for any fashionistas out there who haven't yet been to Milan, definitely visit Via della Spiga and Via Montenapoleone, those really are fashion heaven!! Oh and last but not least, a Milan must-do is to visit Luini's Panzerottis. They are delicious! The store has been running since 1888 and basically makes panzerottis, which are savoury Italian pastries with whatever you can imagine inside, cheese, ham, salami, anything...a-mazing! Find Luini's here (just behind the Duomo) and make sure you visit!!
